A greenhouse provides just the right conditions for plants to grow and thrive; a warm and nurturing environment. That’s exactly what I aim to do for children and families, create a space where learning feels supported, steady, and full of possibility.

On a personal level, it is also a nod to my roots; my much beloved grandfather was a nurseryman in Hampshire. He had the most beautiful garden and was the font of all knowledge for all things botanical.

Whilst I may live in South West London, I grew up next to a farm in rural Kent and I will always be happiest outside, in wellies (ideally with Labrador in tow!)

Hello, I’m Emma. I set up The Learning Greenhouse to bring together my love of teaching with my belief that every child deserves to feel confident and supported in their learning. I work with children and parents in South West London and online.

I specialise in:

• 11+ preparation – building skills, confidence, and exam technique

• 1:1 and small group tutoring

• Guidance with school choices – helping families find the right school fit

• Parent support – practical advice on education and learning at home

The 11+ is my main area of expertise, but also support younger children with 7+ and older children who need targeted help.

You’re welcome to check in at the start or end of a session, but most children relax and learn best when they have the space to work independently. I’ll always keep you updated on progress.
